Deivai Genetai is a magical triform and Orphic Samnite goddess and mistress of the three kingdoms the earth, the sky and the underground associated with the lunar cycle. Her sculptures were placed in the intersections to protect travelers. Her symbols are the torch, the knife, the snake, the wheel, the owls, the dogs and the spinning top.
